The Glosel Group will promote the efficient use of the earth’s limited resources and the realization of a sustainable, recycling-based society.
The Glosel Group is working to reduce waste generation by separating and collecting waste for recycling and curbing waste. In fiscal 2022, we generated 37 tons of waste per year, a 14% increase from fiscal 2021. In fiscal 2022, there was a temporary increase in the items disposed of, but we will continue to promote waste control and reduction.
The Glosel Group is promoting recycling activities by separating and collecting waste, and in fiscal 2021, we recycled 13,911 kg/year of recycled paper/materials, 6.5 kg/year of empty contact lens cases, and 77 kg/year of plastic bottle caps. In fiscal 2022, we recycled 12,204 kg/year of recycled paper/materials, 7.7 kg/year of empty contact lens cases, and 44 kg/year of plastic bottle caps to make the most of our resources.
The Glosel Group does not currently require large amounts of water or water with prescribed water quality in its business activities. However, we are aware of the importance of water resources and will strive to manage them efficiently through our business activities.
